Ini - the one I needed

Ini is one special dog indeed. Not just because she is my first terrier and I subsequently put by far most effort into her socialization and education, but she is also full of contradictions. She is brave, alert, sharp as a real terrier, but on the other hand she gets so easily scared of some bizar things like skydivers or high street lights. She loves the company of some dogs, but then again she absolutely hates the others and doesn't get along with them at all. She would go all happy to greet everybody and lick them, but she wouldn't want to be touched by strangers. Or anyone else but her closest members for that matter. She can be the sweetest dog and in the next moment she shows off her not so nice side of her cahracter. She is pretty dominant dog, she wants to be the boss, but it feels like she doesn't know how to be one. She is a dog that even I don't quite understand and that really makes me sad. Maybe someday I'll manage to reveal her mysterious and interesting character. Despite all those things Ini is a dream dog for me. Not just because she's mine and I am stuck with her whether I want it or not (this is a joke of course ;), but because of her many superb characteristics she has beside those already mentioned. I am impressed by her willingnes to work and cooperate with me. I somehow expected that she would like to run agility, after all, she is a Parson Russell terrier. :) But I never imagined that she would also be so excited about doing basic obedience, not to speak of many different tricks she just loves to learn and do. She is so easy to motivate and that really makes working with her pure fun. What I love the most about her is that she is so good and quiet at home, she is able to sleep all day long if we can't go out for some reason, but when it comes to work she's ready for action in a second. She can be a real clown. She has some habbits that make us laugh every day and you can't be in a bad mood when you're around her. 
As they say: "You can't always get what you want...you get what you need." And Ini is exactly what I needed.
